We’re grateful for the 80+ supporters, volunteers, businesses and neighbors who attended our March 1 Open House at our Shaw neighborhood duplex. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our at-risk 18 to 25-year olds around whom we place family and developmental resources at a crucial time in their lives!

We need volunteers for this Saturday (2/15).
If you can make it by the duplex (map below) any time between 9 AM and 5 PM, we need a hand painting, moving furniture and other materials, removing baseboards, cleaning, dusting, etc... We'll find something for you to do! We would greatly appreciate any and all help. Contact Bob at (636)795-5192 or bstergos@aseatatthetable.org A Seat at the Table supporters helped us exceed a $10,000 matching challenge gift offer by contributing $10,370 on GivingTuesday, for a grand total of $20,370 in GivingTuesday donations! What a day! Those contributions will really help us get our new Shaw neighborhood duplex ready for our next 4 program participants. Thank you!!!

https://www.aseatatthetable.org/donate.html GivingTuesday is ONE WEEK from today! Your donations to A Seat at the Table can be DOUBLED, thanks to a generous “challenge match” of $10,000 issued by a couple of our organization’s most ardent supporters! That means if we reach $10,000 in Giving Tuesday donations, that amount would be doubled for a total of $20,000! These GivingTuesday donations would go a long way to resourcing our next 4 program participants for whom we’re preparing our new duplex in the historic Shaw neighborhood. Because we still have several remaining renovations and updates to do at the new duplex, plus ongoing operational costs for our program participants, such as job & school transportation, furnishings, food, utilities, insurance, etc., please consider A Seat at the Table in your GivingTuesday and end-of-year tax deductible giving! Thank you!!! GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 7 years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. In just those 7 years, the GivingTuesday movement has raised more than $1 billion online in the U.S. alone. |
